What you can expect from our promotion service...

Question: In a nutshell, how does the MusicSUBMIT service work?

• It`s simple. First you create a music profile page, sort of like a MySpace page, only without the "friends".
  
• Then we submit it to stations & sites in your genre.
  Similar to Facebook, the station/webzine gets an email (New Artist Submission: Your Band Name).
  
  
• They open the email, click a link, and find your profile page.
  When your music begins to stream, the station/webzine can click a button to send you a letter telling you they like the music, and they want your CD (or mp3, or downloads). Or, they can "reject" your music, in which case you won`t be notified.
  

Question: Do you guarantee results?

• If, by "guarantee", you mean a promise of a certain amount of radio airplay or music reviews, then answer is No - we do not guarantee those results.
  
  What We do guarantee is full Reporting of your submissions, including:
  
  * Date/Time you were submitted
  * Name of Station/Webzine with weblink url
  * Status of submission ("Accepted" or "Under Review")
  
  Your Reporting also includes useful information such as Type of Site, Region, and management tools to mark sites you`ve followed up with.

Question: How do i know I`ll get my money`s worth?

• If you`re a good artist, you can reasonably expect a 10% Acceptance rate from our music resources. This means if you purchase the 400 submission special for $99 bucks, you`d get close to 40 responses from radio stations, webzines, and music companies interested in your music.
  
  Because we don`t discriminate against lesser-talented artists, we cannot say for sure you`ll get this type of response.
  
  
  

Question: Why can`t you guarantee me airplay or reviews? After all, I`m paying you, aren`t I?

• Simply put, we don`t judge your music, the reviewers do. MusicSUBMIT first listens to your music, then we give your profile a genre(s), up to 3.
  For example, for the artist Jack Johnson, we might categorize his profile as "Singer/Song writer", "Indie" and "Americana", Now, any site that has chosen to accept at least one of those genres is a potential site to which Jack Johnson`s profile may be submitted.
  
  
• The reviewers decide for themselves if they like your music. MusicSUBMIT does not force reviewers to respond to artists whose music they don`t like. The end result is You, the Artist, will get unbiased response from our reviewers. And because we send you to so many sites for the price (only 20 cents to 35 cents per submission), you`re virtually guaranteed a good value, if your music is good.
  
  
• We realize there are other music promoters to choose from, and many ways to promote, including to just do it yourself. We respect that - we`re only trying to make it easier to get your music out there and get the best response for your time & money.
