“Charivna” (Enchanted) was created in Ukraine city Kharkov.
The group sings different kinds of songs such as Ukrainian folk, old romances and modern songs of famous composers from different countries.
Arrangement for four voices and jazz harmonies makes sound unique.
“Charivna” has its own individual style of performing and singing songs.
It makes the group so different among other groups. This is first Ukrainian group which mixed folk traditions with modern style. Participants of the group play accompaniment with acoustic instruments by themselves. This fact tells about their high class of education and big talent.
“Charivna” participated in different kinds of festivals, contests and concerts around the World. The group had awardes and nominations in Ukrainian festival “Singing Vernissage” and international contest “Golden
Trumpets”, performances in Germany also participated on Ukrainian - American Heritage month in Cincinnati and throughout the North America.
“Charivna” has huge inheritance of different kinds of songs.
ART of the group brings positive development in Ukrainian and other different cultures.
