| Bio: |
What is Edge of the World (affectionately coined EOTW)? They are a contemporary, acoustic rock band with jazz fusion sprinkled throughout. Who is EOTW? For starters, Todd Helvig is the voice behind the mic, guitarist, bassist, and lyricist for the group. Todd carved out a following as a local (Denver, Co) singer/songwriter, but wanted to expand the sound in new directions. That’s when Charlie Miller walked through the door. Incredibly skilled as a classical pianist and jazz trumpet player, Charlie adds soulful, emotional texture and harmony to the music. Finally, Josh Williamson joined the group on drums, grounding the music in solid rhythms that can be both subtle and intense...or straight up in-your-face.
Their unique sound is undeniable. When you take their individual musical styles and throw them in a blender you get Edge of the World. Transcending typical genres and bending the rules, they have been praised for playing a whole new style of music. It is an extraordinary case of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Experience EOTW and hear for yourself.

**New Release** Edge of the World's self-titled debut (2009) Edge of the World
They've just released their first full length album complete with 10 studio tracks and 3 bonus live tracks. Wonderfully skilled as solo musicians, these artists come together with the fresh, vibrant sounds that have come to define Edge of the World. The beauty of this album is that it displays the range of musicality of EOTW while hinting at the endless musical possbilities the band has at it's disposal. Solid songwriting, hooks galore, and skillful composition make this self-titled debut stand out and rise above the multitudes of new and independent artists hitting the shelves today.
It goes without saying that EOTW's unique style is drawing attention from a wide range of listeners. Fortunately, the boys of EOTW are seasoned enough to recognize what's emerging from the band is something special. They won't let you down. Lend them your ears and your heart will follow.
