Ask your fans to "add" your song

You may or may not know about the fairly new "add song" feature in Myspace. Whenever you visit a musician’s profile, you're given a few options with their song list. You can download the song (if the artist allows for downloads), view the lyrics, rate the song, leave comments AND allow people to add your song as a stream to their personal profiles. This is not an automatic feature. You must select edit >> manage songs >> and then select the check box that says, "Allow users to add songs to their profile". 

If a user adds your song to their profile, your song will begin to play when their page is loaded. The flash player that streams your song provides two options - Visit Profile and Add Song. The Add Song feature acts as a viral way to promote your music. I'm not sure about this but the additional plays you generate when your song plays on personal profiles MAY count towards the total number of plays for your song in your profile.. and that will help you climb the Myspace charts!
