Time and tide they say...wait for no man...true enough...but with a bit of perserverance / blood / sweat and tears some of t...he dream starts to become reality...from humble beginnings clutching a tape player in the car listening to The Beatles...with the tinny hum just about beating the engine noise...via thousands of hours listening to eclectic tunes from every corner of the globe...plus a lot of practice...we get to a point where my material can hold its own...and as such is ready to be heard...

Through some chance meetings and a bit of serendipity I have started working with Anna P (a relationship that began with some busking in the street) and Ben Jennings ( guitarist with The Anteloids and general musical maestro)...my tunes have stepped up a notch...

Music...like an opiate...has a strange and intoxifying effect on the human mind and body...

Some reactions lead to rhythmic...al foot tapping / full on wig-outs on the dance floor / contemplation / meditation / head-nods / bliss / anger...the full gamut of human emotion.

Lyrics range from the poetic to the political...love is a constant source of inspiration...moments in our lives / people we meet can all relate back to certain passages of music...its always there...music is part of life...harmony / composition / rhythm / heart / soul...

Brought up on the spirit of the sixties, my love affair with riffs and chords began early. Jimi...Zep....The Stones....Beatles...moments etched on the brain...thousands of hours have been spent just experiencing music...dancing / chilling / socialising / playing / driving / singing / jamming ... the eclectic nature of what constitutes a "Tune" is like an unquenchable thirst...

Our story is relatively recent ...the last 18 months has seen The Chosen Spirit emerge from the aether...like worlds colliding...nearly 80 songs from the last couple of years of playing and writing to be released in 2016...
